Ik loop hier al een jaar mee..Ik had m'n vraag al in engels staan:
FL studio workflow question.
I am relatively new to FL studio. As coincidence, this hapend to be my start project.
A friend wants to sing his own version of this song:
I know the chords and want to start making my own channels.
At the end I want to be able to switch in the mixer between original and own version at any moment.
Problem: this track has variable tempo. It slightly increases, but seems to increase not proportional.
verse1: 80bbpm
verse2: 83
Chorus 83 slowly increases to 120bbpm, seems to be not proportional.
Intermezzo 130-136
I know i can automate the tempo change. it is in %.
My Problem: I have a real problem with finding/drawing the tempo increase % and making sure it is constantly in tempo of the original. I seems to be a matter of 'guessing', while I would expect a 'exact' or 'Mathematical' solution. Something like I can Mark the beat on a waveform, and the software/DAW will create a automation clip/tempo % of it.
(what i already tried is to split the mp3 in 3 parts and let fl studio detect the tempo. This works if the tempo is constant, but of course not usable in a slightly increasing tempo.
What is best workflow to setup accurate variable tempo changes in fl to match an external mp3? (i know my issue is related to 'making a remix' and with a new project/song you, of course, don't have this problem)
