Avid heeft voor de welbekende Pro Tools DAW een update uitgebracht om verschillende bugs en errors te kunnen repareren. Gebruikers hebben hun issues gemeld en vervolgens is Avid hiermee aan de slag gegaan.
Er zijn twee uitvoeringen van de update uitgevoerd, te weten 9.0.3 en 9.0.4
9.0.3 is de algemene update voor Pro Tools 9 dat op elk platform draait. Verbeteringen zijn doorgevoerd in:

Verder is er nog een specifieke 9.0.4 versie van de update uitgebracht, voor gebruikers met een specifiek type MacBook Pro:

De update voor de HD Native kaart is hier te vinden.

Verder is er nog een specifieke 9.0.4 versie van de update uitgebracht, voor gebruikers met een specifiek type MacBook Pro:
This release has been specifically designed to address an incompatibility with the early 2011 17" MacBook Pro (model MC725LL/A
with Thunderbolt port) when used with a Magma ExpressBox1 expansion chassis and a Pro Tools HD Native Card.
If you have this configuration, and see an error message when launching Pro Tools ("Unable to find an Audio Interface attached to the
first HD card”) the solution is to:
- download and install the Pro Tools 9.0.4 update
- update the firmware of the HD Native card to version 1.0.2
Please note that Pro Tools 9.0.4 has only been designed to address this issue and is in every other aspect identical to 9.0.3.
If you do not have this specific configuration (2011 17” MacBook Pro, Magma ExpressBox1 and Pro Tools HD Native) you should install Pro Tools 9.0.3 instead.
