Updates voor portable recorders

Omdat er nog niet echt een verzamelplaats is voor updates voor portable recorders, heb ik deze even in het leven geroepen.

Om te starten is er een update beschikbaar voor de Marantz PMD661 portable SD recorder. Deze update wordt aangeraden voor producten met het serienummer 2000091600xxxx. Nieuwere versies van dit product zijn al voorzien van de update, dus voor deze recorders is het niet nodig om de update te installeren.

Verbeterpunten waren als volgt en zijn verholpen in deze update:
1. While opening door and pushing power switch long term, sometimes “MPGLANG1” is created.
2. The unit can not STOP, while pushing “STOP” button at “Executing” is displayed.
3. Flashing time of “●” is not correct when capacitor of Battery is low.
4. The customer can set “REC Timer” and “Play Timer” at same time.
5. Sound is interrupted at continuous playback that is made by “manual Track”.
6. While recording signal at Digital IN, “Err D.IN” is indicated moment.
7. Same kind of sound (about 1 second) is repeated at “Seek” function of “Audible Search”.
8. “Store” is indicated when “Timer Play/Timer Record” is not set.
9. Audio file is not divided, then “Play Reserved” is indicated.
10. Push the “ENTER” button at the display of “RENAME” without changing,
“Already Exists” is indicated.
11. White noise is occurred from speaker while pushing “STOP”, “PLAY-PAUSE” and “PLAY-STOP”.
12. While adjusting the “Rec Level” at Rec Pause, indication is changed from “Err Card 9” to “Err Card 10”.
13. While starting the unit with SD card of “Kingston 4GB”, “Err Card 1” is indicated.
when pushing the “REC” button.
14. Additional of “Logo On/Off” function at No.6 in Service Menu.

Nog een update, maar nu voor de PMD620 recorder. Ook hier geldt dat wordt aangeraden om deze update te installeren om onderstaande symptomen te verhelpen.

Deze update biedt een verbetering voor o.a. de volgende symptomen:
1. The time counter indicated error at “Audio Search” on MP3 files (24 hours)
2. While searching 4GB file at Audible Search Seek, unit goes back to the beginning of track.
3. Noise is occurred, while changing the file from 24 bit to 16 bit at “Audible Search Seek”.
4. The unit did not understand size of characters while renaming.
5. Name of long file did not scroll while changing the function from “STOP” to “Play Stop”
by “>>” button.
6. While playing the no music files, “Err Format 1” is indicated once a twice.
7. The unit indicated wrong Bit Rates or wrong FS at picture of information.
8. While recording the 999-file, file size arrives at 4GB, then unit stops recording,
but picture is still indicated at “REC” mode.
9. While starting the unit with SD card of “Kingston 4GB”, “Err Card 1” is indicated
when pushing the “REC” button.

Hier een update voor de Marantz CDR310. Geen bugs om te verhelpen deze keer, maar een zipje met updates welke extra functies bieden. Deze update is dus niet 'raadzaam', maar wel handig wanneer er behoefte is aan de volgende features;
- Scherm verlicht tijdens inschakelen.
- 'Track Delete' functie toegevoegd.
- 'Verify' toegevoegd bij 'MAKE CD'.
- 'Do not Format HD' toegevoegd na 'MAKE CD'.
