Aansturen LED bar

Hoi,

Ik heb op de pa-beurs een showmaster 24 gekocht om mijn GLX Lighting led stage4 aan te gaan sturen via DMX.
Het volgende staat in de handleiding van de LED stage:
Operation
After you power up the LED STAGE 4, the LED’s start running and the display lights up. The device has
two operating modes; it can be operated in sound controlled or in DMX-controlled mode.
You can choose the desired mode via the button MENU, UP and DOWN:
When the display shows A*** you can choose the desired DMX address via the UP or DOWN buttons.
When the display shows *512 the device is in DMX mode. To switch to sound controlled mode, press
the DOWN button.
When the display shows *SND the device is in sound controlled mode. To switch to DMX mode, press
the UP button.
When the display shows S** you can choose the desired speed of the internal programs. Default is 51;
for increasing speed press the DOWN button, for decreasing speed press the UP button.

Ik druk dus op "mode" en zorg via de up en down knoppen dat er A--1 staat.
Echter komt er geen *512 in beeld te staan maar auto.
Ook heb ik al geprobeerd om er A512 neer te zetten via up en down, maar dan geeft het schermpje ook weer "auto" aan.

Iemand die weet wat ik fout doe?

Komt er een DMX-signaal binnen? Sommige DMX-apparaten gaan automatisch op AUTO als er geen signaal binnen komt. Sluit je tafel eens erop aan, en probeer het dan nog is.

Ik heb de showmaster aangezet, een XLR van de lichttafel naar de ledbar, welke ook aan staat. Dit had ik al gedaan. Blackout uit.
Edit: moet ik trouweens bij A*** invullen met up en down A--1 of A512? heb beide al geprobeerd.

Op A vul je je startadres in, oftewel de schuif welke je als eerste wilt gebruiken. Als dat de eerste schuif is, dan wordt het dus A1.
De A is puur voor het instellen van het adres. Met menu up and down moet je naar *512 gaan en dan weer op menu drukken, dan zou die normaal gesproken in de DMX functie modus moeten staan.

Dit is gelukt, hartstikke bedankt. Nu kan ik gaan beginnen met het programmeren van scenes etc.
